MPHS Spotlight Players Mt. Pleasant High School Theatre Department Theatre officially came to Mt. We meet weekly to discuss upcoming productions and performances.

Pleasant High School in the spring of 2016; the theatre club was founded and organized that fall. Our goal is to provide ample theatre oppurtunities to students outside of theatre class and to bring more performing arts to the Mt. Pleasant community.

The Spotlight Players are sponsered by Ms. Lori Joffs, and led by President Milla Smith. In the 2020-21 school year, the Spotlight Players continue to meet and perform as a theatre troupe. We held an Open Mic Night, and Improv and Comedy Night, which featured our Theatre 2 class in an One Act, we also performed “Into the Woods” in late April.
