✨ What a Wonderful Wednesday at AllwonderBILITY™! ✨

Did you know that all of our WonderBILITY recreational classes are led by pediatric therapists who are experts in child development?

Today’s classes were taught by:

Our team combines fun, play, and evidence-based developmental expertise to create meaningful experiences for every child.

Tess, Alex, Hannah, will be among those leading camp sessions alongside our other amazing staff members. Camp is a great opportunity for children to build confidence, friendships, motor skills, communication skills, and creativity through play.

🍂 Looking ahead to fall, we’ll be adding additional class offerings to provide even more flexibility while continuing to offer developmentally appropriate experiences. We’re also working on creating more sibling-friendly opportunities for families.

💫 Remember: If you miss your regular class, you may attend another class as a make-up, space permitting.

⚠️ Once a class reaches membership capacity, drop-in spots will no longer be available. Please check availability before attending, because when classes are full, they’re full!

What are your kids doing next week from 1:00–4:00 PM, Monday through Thursday?

Join us at AllwonderBILITY® Camp for an afternoon packed with fun, movement, creativity, and connection!

Perfect for kiddos ages 3–8 years old. Children should be potty trained. If your child is not yet potty trained, a caregiver must remain on site.

✨ Active play and movement games
✨ Sensory-rich activities
✨ Fine motor and art projects
✨ Social skill development
✨ Language-building opportunities
✨ Lots of exercise, exploration, and fun!

Our camp is supported by pediatric therapy professionals who are experts in movement, sensory regulation, and child development, creating an engaging and supportive environment for every child.

Parents can feel comfortable knowing our doors remain secured throughout camp, with staff supervising activities from start to finish.

We only have a few spots remaining for next week, so don’t wait—once they’re gone, they’re gone!

Hi, I’m Lucy! I am a graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in Early Childhood Education and currently work as a Kindergarten teacher. I have a passion for working with children in all settings and love experiencing their joy through play, creativity, and exploration.

I am thrilled to be part of the AllwonderBILITY® team and look forward to helping create fun, engaging, and memorable birthday celebrations for your child and family. Join us from 1:00–4:00 PM for an afternoon full of movement, creativity, and fun for children ages 3–8!

A lot of people ask, “What exactly is AllwonderBILITY®?”

Yes, we’re a play space—but we’re so much more than that.

At AllwonderBILITY®, we bridge the gap between play and therapy through purposeful movement, sensory experiences, and child-led exploration. Our sensory gym was designed by a pediatric therapist alongside a team with educational backgrounds to create a space where children can move, climb, explore, create, and grow.

What is a sensory gym?

A sensory gym is designed to help children regulate their bodies through movement and play. From climbing and swinging to balancing and exploring, the activities provide the sensory input children need to build body awareness, coordination, confidence, and self-regulation—all while having fun.

Every part of our space was intentionally designed with child development in mind. The activities may look like play (and they are!), but there is purpose behind every inch of the environment.

During camp, children will spend the afternoon moving and grooving, making friends, creating, exploring, and getting plenty of exercise and sensory input along the way.

Our camps are staffed by therapists who understand child development and how children learn best through play. While camp is not skilled therapy, it is thoughtfully planned and guided by professionals who are passionate about helping children thrive.

Our team is growing — meet Hannah!

Hannah is a pediatric speech therapist who specializes in play based and neurodivergent affirming therapy. She loves creating joyful, supportive therapy experiences that help children build confident communication skills while empowering families to feel informed, capable, and connected. She is passionate about supporting young children with early language skills, working with neurodivergent children (including Gestalt Language Processors), and using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

We’re so excited that Hannah will be joining us this summer as both a class instructor and summer camp leader at AllwonderBILITY®!

Reminder: all of our classes and camps are designed for children of all abilities and are recreationally based, while still being thoughtfully developed and led by occupational, speech, and physical therapists alongside our recreational staff. While these are not individualized therapy sessions, therapists are present to support participation, age-appropriate development, and an encouraging environment for every child.

Happy Sunday, friends 🤍

Sharing this photo of pure joy after a somewhat heavy week filled with growth, reflection, end-of-year chaos, spirit weeks, parenting, business pressures, and all the things life can pile on at once.

This week reminded me how important it is to lead with grace — for others and for ourselves. We are all imperfect people doing our best, experiencing life through different lenses, and all deserving of kindness, compassion, understanding, and love.

A message from church today really stayed with me: don’t miss the forest for the trees. That perspective felt especially meaningful this week as we continue learning, growing, refining, and striving to better serve our community with both love, compassion, and wisdom.

We won’t always do everything perfectly, but we are committed to growing through every experience and continuing to build something beautiful together. Thank you for the grace you’ve shown us along the way.

At the heart of AllwonderBILITY is the reminder that our true ability comes from Christ alone. He is the only perfect one, and in moments where we don’t have all the answers, we continue leaning on Him for wisdom, understanding, strength, and grace. He is the one who gives us the ability to keep showing up, keep learning, and keep loving others well.

We’re getting so excited for summer at AllwonderBILITY™! ☀️🌈

A few special summer notes:

Our summer schedule will begin rolling over in June, with afternoon enrichment camps running from 1:00–4:00 PM. These are drop-off camps for potty-trained children ages 3–8 and will include lots of fun, movement, creativity, and play!

If your child requires caregiver support or assistance with toileting, please message us. We’re happy to discuss accommodations and ways to help include your child.

Please also note that some Open Play times may be adjusted throughout the summer to accommodate camps. We will still continue offering plenty of Open Play slots and class options!

Classes will continue running throughout the summer with the exception of the Wednesday 1:15 PM class. Members enrolled in that class are welcome to attend other class options included with their membership.

Also, our Family Unlimited Membership now includes unlimited classes AND unlimited Open Play for just $159/month! 🎉 You also get 25% off camps with any Soaring Wings Membership.

This is a great option for families with multiple children or kiddos wanting to participate in different age groups and classes throughout the week.

As always, we’ll still continue offering our Little Wings memberships and individual class pass options as well. 💛
