Smarty Supply Co. At Smarty Rodeo, our mission began with creating the most anatomically accurate roping dummy on the market. With humble beginnings in a barn and a dedicated team led by our founder, Allen Bach, we started by designing custom dummies from scratch. A pivotal moment came in 2020 when we partnered with IMFAB, Inc., blending our r
oping expertise with cutting-edge engineering. This collaboration catapulted our dummies into arenas across the globe, transforming the roping experience for athletes everywhere. In 2021, we expanded our horizons by acquiring Elite Custom Saddles, renowned for their high-quality performance, rodeo, and ranch saddles. To provide accessible options, we introduced Smarty Saddlery, offering top-notch, cost-friendly saddles for those not quite ready for an Elite Custom Saddle. The following year, we enhanced our product line with the addition of the Smarty Bronc and Smarty Bulldogger, introducing training tools for saddle bronc, bareback riding, steer wrestling, and goat tying. In 2022, we proudly welcomed Heel-O-Matic into the Smarty Rodeo family, providing ropers with even more practice opportunities. That same year, our founder, Allen Bach, retired, leaving behind a legacy of innovation and dedication. Our success is driven by a passionate in-house team and collaborations with over 50 professional rodeo athletes—including team ropers, breakaway ropers, calf ropers, steer wrestlers, goat tiers, and saddle bronc and bareback riders. Their insights keep us at the forefront of product development, ensuring our tools serve both seasoned professionals and newcomers. Our headquarters in Mount Pleasant, Texas, features a 7,500 square-foot retail space, Smarty Supply Co., where you’ll find a wide range of Smarty and Heel-O-Matic products. Each year at the NFR, we use our dummies and Pro Team to contribute to impactful initiatives and create memorable rodeo experiences.
