The Mount Pleasant Chorale's first rehearsal of the season is tonight.

Monday, September 28th at 7:00 pm!

Please join us on in Old Main on Central Campus of the former Iowa Wesleyan University. All choral singers from high school age on up are welcome and encouraged to join!

Kick off your Fourth of July celebration a little early with the Ottumwa Municipal Band's Patriotic Concert on Thursday, July 2nd at 7 p.m. in Central Park!

🎺 This special program is packed with Independence Day favorites and American classics, including:
⭐The Star-Spangled Banner
⭐The Stars and Stripes Forever
⭐America, the Beautiful
⭐Bunker Hill
⭐Navy Blue March..and more!

🎤 The band will be joined by the Ottumwa Area Community Chorus, directed by Dr. Christine Bergan, for powerful performances of "Armed Forces – The Pride of America," "Hymn to Freedom," and "God Bless America."

👕 Dress the part by wearing your red, white and blue!

🪑 Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and settle in for a beautiful summer evening of music.

🌧️ Weather looking iffy? The concert will move indoors to Liberty School. Any venue change will be posted on the Ottumwa Municipal Band page, so keep an eye out!

When a March Blizzard comes through and steals our third concert, the Marketing Team gets to work!!

For the safety of our traveling musicians and patrons we have decided to cancel the Mount Pleasant concert immediately to allow patrons to attend in Ottumwa for the 2:00 p.m. concert. The weather should be fine for traveling both to and from this concert.

Update: 📣 Mount Pleasant ticket holders, you can use your ticket to attend the Ottumwa concert 👍

With the current weather forecast in mind, we have made the decision to cancel the Mount Pleasant concert scheduled for this evening.

The final Beethoven’s 9th Symphony Masterworks Concert will take place today, Sunday, March 15 at 2:00 PM at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa. BEETHOVEN’S 9TH SYMPHONY (Ottumwa) The weather is expected to be good this afternoon, and the earlier concert time should allow patrons and musicians to travel to and from Ottumwa safely. If you are able, we invite you to join us for this performance.
