Our daughter Jayla (who was 11 at the time) played a big role in the creation of this song. Not only was she the inspiration, but she helped write the second verse:

“You are that mirror that reflects all that it sees
So let it reflect your true identity
Creator, dreamer, someone to talk to
Royalty, a child of God

A source or all that’s good and all that’s right

The idea is that we are mirrors - we reflect what we see (bad company corrupts good character).

We choose to look to Jesus and reflect him to the world - His mindset, His attributes, His creativity, His love.
