During our final Summer Concert on August 6, local artist Monique Ford stood before a blank canvas and began painting as the music played. Stroke by stroke, color by color, the energy of the concert came to life on the canvas, creating an original work that could only have been made in that moment.

Now, “Empire Beats” is on display at M&T Bank in Mount Kisco, and you have the opportunity to make this one-of-a-kind piece yours!

This isn’t simply a painting. It’s a snapshot of a night of music, community, and creativity — captured live on canvas.

Your winning bid directly supports the Mount Kisco Arts Council, helping us bring visual arts, workshops, live events, and public art projects to our community.

Bid on the art. Own the moment. Support the arts. ❤️

👉 Place your bid for “Empire Beats” and take home a truly original piece of Mount Kisco’s summer concert experience!

August 6th: Empire Beats are back!!!!

We’ll kick things off at 5:30pm with the opener Lillimure!

Glamorous jazz chanteuses and gutsy blues shouters front Empire Beats Empire Beats as they explore an expanding book of old-school Rhythm & Blues, Rock & Roll, Jazz, and Pop music – familiar and forgotten hits from the past and funky new original sounds. Empire Beats’ non-stop showcase draws from the best of 1952 to 2025 – from pioneers Etta James and Big Mama Thornton to Maxine Nightingale and Ann Peebles, with crowd pleasing numbers by the likes of Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Chaka Khan, and Prince – plus much, much, more. Their energetic r***e recalls another era but is firmly rooted in the right now.

Lillimure ☆ LILLIMURE ☆ is a singer, songwriter, and producer based in New York. Influenced by melodies of her multicultural upbringing, she draws from introspective lyricism and pulsing grooves for when you want to run away and find yourself at the same time.

We’ll also be joined by MKAC artist member Monique Ford Monique Ford , who will be painting live during the concert! Monique is generously giving a portion of the proceeds from the painting to MKAC.

When: August 6th, 5:30pm Lillimure and, 6:15pm Empire Beats
Where: Fountain Park (in front of the Library), 100 E. Main St, Mount Kisco
Note: Rain Location, St. Marks Church, 85 E. Main St, Mount Kisco
