The Vine Hula School and Na Kalāʻauhihilani, which means Hula School Belonging to the Heavenly Vine, were inspired by the verse John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. As my family was led to relocate to New York, God placed on my heart to begin teaching and sharing hula to the people in Waterto

wn. As a non-profit Christian organization, we offer private and group hula lessons learning the basics of hula and its terminology. Haumana (students) will also be introduced to a few choreagraphed routines depending on the class' level of ability. Sharing our Aloha with the community through local performances for our hula ohana (family) and friends, as well as some community outreach events is part of our school mission based on Psalm 149:3 Let them praise him with dancing....

We are family-owned and operated, and have a heart to share our love for hula and the Hawaiian/Pacific American culture in a Christ-centered environment. The majority of my hula training has been under Kumu Hula Hilary Kapilipu'uwai Silva of Florida. I have also taken lessons from Kumu Hula Kawehi Punahele of Hawaii, Aunty Otila Massaro of Samoa & her daughter, "Baby O", Otila Senitima Massaro Balewski, and Kumu Kea, Kumu Hula Pattye Kealohalani Wright, of Hawaii. I am currently taken lessons with Kumu Hula Lei'ihilani Kirkpatrick of Kauai. Please email or private message me on our page if you have any questions.

Aloha e hula 'ohana! I've started another chapter to my hula journey and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in joining me. I've rejoined my Kumu in Florida as she reopened her Hālau. I'm so excited. I'm doing classes online with her Saturday morning. Let me know if you're interested.
