The Cottle Mountainair Hotel

History: This building was originally built in the late 1800’s, after a fire that destroyed the original building it was reconstructed in 1910. It has known many names and seen the rise and fall of this small town in Fayette county, West Virginia. It now stands a monument to the resilience of Mount Hope residents and their interesting history.

Reported Activity: Apparitions of small children, Poltergeist activity, Shadow figures, Laughing or giggling.

We traveled to The Cottle Mountainair Hotel, one of the most haunted places in Mount Hope, West Virginia, known for ghost sightings, unexplained sounds and local legends. We set out to uncover the truth behind the eerie stories.
💀 What we experienced was our best evidence caught on camera yet, with the entire building to ourselves we got interactions with cat balls, flashlights and THE ESTES METHOD.
