October 25th Mount Holly lantern parade. 4 of my creations were in it, mainly featuring my newest: a 29 foot octopus named Juno! With the help of friends and family she moved like an octopus does, interacting with the crowd as we passed them! A spectacular evening! Thank you to Stephanie Newman. Juno won First Place.

Tomorrow night (Saturday, October 25) is the Mount Holly Lantern Parade!!!
Come dive into the "Deep Blue Sea" in downtown Mount Holly!
It will be a refreshing dip of creativity and merrymaking!
I'll be there with a few of my sea creatures!
Come meet Juno! The record holding 30 foot Giant Pacific Octopus was my inspiration, and Juno is the size to prove that! (and ya'll thought my 2019 dragon was big. lol)

I finally finished painting the mural at The Bird Garden of Naples. Fantastic non-profit rescue for exotic birds, with the extra spice of a few extra resident birds (Like Leo the Emu). If you are in Naples, FL check it out on a Fri-Sat-Sun morning for one of their tours, and take a photo-op pic with Green Wing Macaw wings and tag me!

Come join me and other artists for Mount Holly's 6th Annual Plein Air Paint-Out, followed by Wet Paint Sale & Awards tomorrow.

Painting in and around Mount Holly, NC today and Saturday morning. Artists may submit two pieces for judging for more than $2,000 in prizes. The judge is Internationally known and Charlotte-based visual artist, Tina Alberni.

From middle and high school students to adults that have painted for years, come see all the amazing art that gets created this week. Rain or shine the event goes on! Wet Paint Sale and Awards start Saturday, 21st at 5:00 pm at Arts on the Greenway!
