Tomorrow is the day! Time to come together and enjoy family and friends…listen to some good music, eat too much and shop all our wonderful downtown stores and visit all our festival vendors at their booths. The Mount Gilead Fall Festival on Main is finally here! Come on down! The weather is going to be wonderful! It’s going to be a great day!

The Mt. Gilead Fall Festival on Main

The Mt. Gilead Fall Festival on Main will be held downtown from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 20. The event is part of the 10 Days of Uwharrie Festival, which will be from Oct. 19-28 throughout Montgomery County, and which has been designated the official outdoor festival for North Carolina for 2018.

There will be live musical entertainment provided by six different bands throughout the day, headlined by The Fantastic Shakers (pictured above). All kinds of events are planned, including a display by Richard Petty Motorsports, a huge regional pickle ball tournament organized by the Mt. Gilead Lions Club, a co****le event planned by the Civitans, a 50/50 raffle by the Amity Club, barbecue cooked by the local volunteer fire department, plus a variety of food and vendors.
