We had a special guest in our VPK music classes last week! 🎶

Our secondary band director, Mr. Barker, stopped by to introduce our students to the brass family, sharing how these instruments work and what makes their sound so unique. The highlight of the day? Getting to try the instruments themselves! 🎺

Our young musicians were curious, excited, and full of smiles as they explored something new. Experiences like this help spark a lifelong love of music! ❤️🎵

Last night, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz officially opened, and what an unforgettable journey it was down the yellow brick road! 🌈 From dazzling performances to enchanting moments, the cast and crew brought Oz to life in the most spectacular way.

MDCA’s Marching Band was honored to perform at the Tumbleweed 5K at Camp Boggy Creek Saturday! 🎶🏃‍♂️ The band brought the pep and energy as runners reached the turnaround point, helping keep spirits high and feet moving.

Camp Boggy Creek provides free, life-changing camp experiences for children with serious medical illnesses, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support such an incredible organization. 💛

Congratulations to junior Leah Goudreau for winning the 3rd annual poster design contest for the Mount Dora Yacht Club's annual regatta, which garners national attention.
