Original Artwork by Eugene C. McGee Gene's works are featured in many private, corporate, and public collections around the country and the world.

The artwork of Gene McGee captures the emotions and feelings that one experiences when on steps onto the "hallowed ground" of the University of Notre Dame, as well as other locations around the world. Gene's son, Ryan, was a student at Notre Dame, allowing Gene the luxury to draw on location. In addition, he studied and worked from numerous photographs of events, interpreting the relationship betw

een the students and the landscape of this beautiful campus. Gene's paintings and prints depict the wonderful memories of special events on campus. For example, his first print, entitled "Candlelight Vigil", will bring back memories of "The Grotto" during Junior Parents' Weekend (JPW 2000) or many of the cold winter nights at Notre Dame. His paintings and prints bring back many memories for all alumni to recall and enable them to enjoy the experience once again. His artwork hangs in colleges in Pennsylvania, a hospital in Japan, and private collections in Canada and Alaska. Gene has been creating artwork for over 50 years, having studied art at both Bloomsburg University and Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. He also has been an educator in the Mount Carmel Area School District for 35 years, with 15 of those years as an Art Instructor. Unitl 2004, Gene had been selling only his original oil paintings, pen and inks, and charcoal drawings. With this limited edition of signed and numbered prints, Gene is excited about making his original artwork available to all "Fighting Irish" Fans and Alumni.
