What tattoo do you think is going to make a comeback?
Lower back tattoos (affectionately known as Tramp Stamps) and I am here for it!

Would you rather tattoo 10 tiny tattoos or one giant piece?
Both can be fun but I think there is more potential for creativity and sneaking in special details with larger pieces!

The one place you DONT want a tattoo on yourself?
You will never hear me say I want a palm tattoo, the wrist was close enough and I think my soul left my body on that one 🙃

If you could only tattoo to one playlist forever, what would it be?
Classic Rock - I love most types of music but Led Zeppelin, Queen and CCR will always have an extra special place in my heart❤️

What subject would you never get tired of tattooing?
Mushrooms and little critters! If you can find it on the forest floor, it’s for me!🐌

What can your tattoo station not function without?
Machine with an adjustable stroke, it’s so nice being able to use the same machine whether it be for linework, shading or color packing!

Your most controversial tattoo option?
I will probably never settle into doing just one style, I enjoy the challenge of doing multiple styles well and would not want to have to turn a client away just because they want something in a different style than what we have previously done.

What tattoo do YOU plan on getting next?
I want to get a Mandrake(the screaming plant from Harry Potter) in the likeness of my daughter because that’s exactly how she looked and acted for the first few months 🤣

Will accept tips in the form of:
Handmade goods, books or little “this made me think of you” gifts❤️

I will be changing the name of this page to KatieLiz Tattoos, and creating a new Needle & Groove Page that will include all artists that will be working at the new studio! I figured this would be the easiest way to have a shop page but not confuse my clients that use Facebook to message me!

✨ BIG NEWS! ✨

Needle & Groove is growing!

After a lot of dreaming, planning, and hard work, I’m so excited to announce that we’re relocating to a new space! Don’t worry, we aren’t going far, but we are moving into a much larger building that will allow this little dream of mine to grow into something even bigger.

One of the things I’m most excited about is finally having the space to welcome other talented artists. My vision has always been to create a creative, welcoming environment where artists can thrive, and we’re taking the first big step toward making that happen.

Throughout the month of July, I’ll be renovating, painting, building, decorating, and turning this new space into something truly special. Because of that, I may be slower than usual responding to messages and booking requests. I promise I’m not ignoring you, I’ll be catching up on everything as soon as the dust settles!

Thank you all for supporting Needle & Groove and helping make this possible. Every appointment, referral, share, and kind word has helped get us here. I can’t wait to open the doors and share the new studio with all of you.

*as soon as I get over whatever crud I have going on I will be hitting 2026 head on. If you have reached out to me in the past and somehow haven’t heard back please reach out again. I am doing a deep clean of my inboxes while I’m sick to set myself up for this year. Like a lot of artists i know, messages are my biggest downfall and I want to make a serious effort to get stay on top of them 2026.
