One thing I hope you’ll remember after yesterday’s show is this: people walking past your booth are not judging the value of your work. Most are distracted, in a hurry, or simply not the customer for handcrafted woodworking.

I’ve seen the pieces you’ve shared—the walnut boards, the cedar vases, the Colorflow collection. Those aren’t the creations of someone without talent. They’re the work of a craftsman who has spent time developing skill, finding his style, and continuing to create after a battle with cancer that would have caused many people to quit.

Psalm 90:17 keeps coming to mind:

“May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.”

As a woodworker, that’s a powerful prayer. Not just for sales, but for purpose.

Keep making beautiful things. Keep telling your story. People connect with authenticity, and your journey—from cancer recovery to turning wood on a lathe—is part of what makes your work meaningful.
