Unfortunately due to Coronavirus all of our events are canceled until further notice. The Coronavirus is hitting everyone very hard but unfortunately if things don't change quick we will have to close our doors for good. Below is a compilation to try and raise some money to try and at least keep our doors opened for the summer. Donate if you can, share if you want. Regardless on what happens I will remember the times we spent at 231 Jefferson Avenue for as long as I live.

Hi, everybody. We are heartbroken to announce that we must suspend all events in March due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Events in April are tentatively on until further notice. We will be closely monitoring the situation, and all CDC guidelines and taking further action if necessary.

The Save Thunderbird's Fest is the first event in April, we will let you know immediately if we decide it must be cancelled, which again is a strong possibility. If so, we'll attempt to reschedule or rebook it, as we really are going to need a big event to bounce back from this as soon as it can be safely done.

Thunderbird's is about community, so we are doing what is right for the community to help prevent the spread of this illness. Please stay clean, avoid large gatherings and keep a close eye on your health and that of your loved ones in this time. Long Live Thunderbird's!

Unfortunately the Coronavirus is spreading at an alarming rate. All March shows are being canceled we will revisit the situation moving forward for April but I'm currently on the road and seeing what's going on we aren't going to even think about putting our friends, family and patrons at risk with this bu****it. Wash your hands

Hey, everyone. Unfortunately, we are currently struggling to keep our doors open. Business has been slow and we have all been very busy in our personal lives.

So, April 4th we will be throwing a Save Thunderbirds fundraiser show!
Now is the time to help us preserve and improve a space for the local scene to thrive!

Thunderbird's Event Center will be matching Pickles Eatery & Bar's donation of hams to families in need again this year. For every 1,000 wings sold in December, Pickles will donate a ham to a family in need, and TBird's will match the donation.

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice or anything else this season, remember to keep the spirit of giving alive. Also, as a reminder, our clothing drive in partnership with the WV IWW and Wheeling Soup Kitchen is still on! Bring old clothes to the next show you catch!
