How many years have you been swinging a rope? Hard to say exactly, off and on since I was a kid, started competing in mid/late 90's then quit in the early 2000's and didnt rope for 19 years until starting back up 3 years ago.

Who got you started in team roping? That would be Gary's fault.

Wife's name: Kaye

Kids (and grandkids) names/ages: kids Tahmara 41, Brent 39, Kaylin 32 and Cole 27. Grandkids....Afton, Marissa, Reina, Rico, Sayer, Lawson, Eva, Salma, Mateo, Lincoln, Elliot, Elias. They range from 12 months to 15 years old.

267 teams at Cross Bar Arena on October 3. Over $56,000 paid out. One roping at 100% payback.

We'll do it again October 31.

This month the High Roller moves to the 10.5 at 85% payback. The Outlaw Alfalfa Cowboy Classic 11.5 is back at 100% payback, 10 teams only.

All other ropings books open at 8. Roping starts at 9.

Your all-time favorite win or proudest roping moment: World Series Heartland - 1st on May 31, 2010 and Patriot Event in Fort Worth, TX 1st and 2nd on February 24, 2017.
