☀️ WOW. Spirit of the Lakes 2026! What an unforgettable weekend. ☀️

Over the past three days, we watched our community come together in the best possible way. We laughed, danced, cheered, shopped, explored, made new memories, and celebrated everything that makes Mound and the Lake Minnetonka community so special.

From our Children’s Entrepreneur Market and Boat-In Movie… to Meet Your Maker, the debut of Shoreline Showdown Pro Wrestling, the Wakesurf Open, Touch-a-Truck, live music, amazing local vendors, and one spectacular fireworks show—it was a weekend we’ll be talking about for a long time.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, performed, competed, exhibited, donated, and worked behind the scenes—thank you. Spirit of the Lakes is truly a community festival, and it simply wouldn’t happen without all of you.

We also want to thank our residents and local businesses for your patience as we navigated this year’s road construction together. Your support, flexibility, and enthusiasm helped make the weekend a success despite the challenges.

☀️🎉 It’s the final day of Spirit of the Lakes, and we’re going out with a bang! 🎆

Before we jump into today’s festivities, we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who came out yesterday. From Meet Your Maker to the incredible Shoreline Showdown, live music from whirlpool bath Puma, and all the smiling faces throughout the park—your energy is what makes this festival so special. We loved seeing our community come together to celebrate summer on Lake Minnetonka!

Now, let’s make one more day of memories!

💙 What a way to kick off Spirit of the Lakes!

Thank you to everyone who joined us last night for opening night! From supporting our incredible young entrepreneurs at the Kids Market to enjoying live music from Double Down featuring Maddie Anderson, and ending the evening with Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on the water—it was a night to remember.

We’re also happy to see the smoke has mostly cleared and are looking forward to an amazing Friday!

Here’s what’s happening today:

Bring the whole family for an action-packed evening of professional wrestling!

☀️🎉 The wait is over... Spirit of the Lakes starts TODAY!

For the next three days, Surfside Park will be filled with everything that makes summer in Minnesota so special—live music, local businesses, great food, family fun, time on the water, and a community coming together to celebrate.

While today’s air quality isn’t ideal, the festival is on! Please take care of yourself and your family by staying hydrated, taking breaks if needed, and considering a mask if you’re sensitive to smoke or have respiratory conditions.

Here’s what’s happening today:
🎈 Kids Market in the Park – Come support some incredible young entrepreneurs!
🎶 Live Music from Double Down featuring special guest Maddie Anderson
🚤🎬 End the evening with our Boat-In Movie! Grab your boat, tune your radio to 89.7 FM, and enjoy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off under the stars.
