Locally called "the island," the landmass in Moss Landing is actually a three-quarter-mile-long and half-mile-wide sand spit. It is formed by a natural coastal barrier of sand dunes separated from the mainland shore by the Old Salinas River Channel, ocean inlets, and the harbor.

Take the bridge on Sandholdlt Rd, on the Woodward Marine Market, and to Ship's Store MBARI and so much more!
To meet my group for a day on island.
