Haven’t posted since we closed and this time again a heavy heart. We closed after the hurricanes and we were able to be blessed with MBP leasing our building. They’re moving out into their new church. We are so excited for them. They’ve blessed our community and helped many.
We will be cleaning out everything in our building. Yes if you had your name on a ceiling tile, it’s there. This Wednesday and Thursday from 12-5 you can come find yours. We will also be selling all the skates and whatever is left. The tables and lockers are sold. Please pass this on to others. I know they’re some who are interested and have expressed they want things. If you want to stop and just say hi, you’re welcome to come. For 29 years we watched so many grow up and make memories. We have so many memories of y’all too!

Thank you everyone for the kind words and memories. Several peopthave asked about ceiling tiles with handprints. We saved them and they are in storage. Once the current lease is over or it sells we will take them out and let y’all go through them to find yours.

So I’ve been putting off this post, but officially tomorrow February 1 Wheelers Fec is closed. First Pentecostal Church has leased the building temporarily while their church is rebuilding and the property is for sale. I do not see it remaining a skating rink but some other commercial development. Thanks for the memories for us and many for others too. Tomorrow would be 29 years of operation for us. It’s time to retire, we have seen many families come and go, it’s time for ours. It’s been good times and hard times but overall the faces and laughter we remember. Thanks for the memories!

We will be closed this coming weekend (FRIDAY and SATURDAY) August 21st and 22nd. We have lost a beloved family member. Please keep Mr. David and Mrs. Greta in your thoughts and prayers.

We will reopen next weekend, August 28, as usual.

Just reminding everyone, we are open 630-1030 Friday and Saturday night. Please remember your masks and social distancing. Trying to stay open so we appreciate everyone’s cooperation.

Our hours are changing. Beginning Friday July 3 we will begin closing at 1030 pm. We will be closed July 4. We also require masks when entering the building and with any interaction with our employees. When on the skate floor, you are skating and exercising so you don’t have to wear a mask on the skate floor. Thank you for your cooperation.

We are planning to be open this weekend but are very reluctant. We know kids don’t think wearing a mask is cool but parents please have your kids do the right thing. We are encouraging wearing masks, some rinks are making it mandatory and we may soon too or close again. Thank you for your cooperation. We take our health and yours too seriously.

We will open this weekend Friday and Saturday 630-11. We have prepared to keep everyone as safe as possible but the chance of exposure to Covid-19 is possible where groups of people gather. Individuals must assume responsibility and refrain from coming if they have symptoms, have been exposed, or feel uncomfortable visiting our facility.
Face masks are recommended but optional. Our employees will be required to wear them. Practice safe distancing and common sense.

We are not opening yet. We will be watching updates on the Coronavirus. We anticipate opening in the next few weeks. It’s hard to picture the kids apart. Please Stay safe. Thank you to all who take care of us.
