Couple weeks late🤦🏼‍♀️, but I’m so proud of Miss Emma, and all my students. Covid was hard, but they jumped right back in and every single one is doing a wonderful job. Thanks for letting me teach your kiddos and you (for my adult students 😊). It’s a pleasure and enjoy your summer vacation!!

I just posted a link to sign up for summer lessons in the private group. I have dates opened from June to August. Select as many as you would like.

* Summer lessons are completely optional, its encouraged though. If you choose not to do lessons over the summer please remember to practice.

* I know things come up and late cancellations will happen but I do plan my family time around lessons so as soon as you know you won’t make it please text me at 386-7089. Also there should be a reminder email sent out 2 days prior so make sure you check your emails for reminders. 🙂

* The room does get rather warm, so bring water to drink.

* Please sign up by June 1, after that date I could be closing the sign up times.

Hey Everyone. I hope you all had a nice time on Thanksgiving 🙂. I was getting ready to do some planning for lessons tomorrow and I totally forget that we actually don’t have lessons tomorrow. I know I added some new students so they might not have the packet of calendars I handed out in September (they are also in the album on the private group), so I just wanted to make a post as a reminder and notification for my newest students. I now know with the passing of my grandma and then school closing due to quarantining, this will be our 3rd week not having lessons, so I’m hoping that I can see everyone again soon. Please continue practicing your Christmas songs if I had assigned any in our previous lessons (we will be having a virtual Christmas recital project). I will be making an updated December calendar to add my newest students and will post that today or tomorrow to assist in one of the busiest month I’m sure for many families🎄💚❤️

For the time being I will be offering hand sanitizer to be used before lessons. Currently the one I have is scented (vanilla), if your sensitive to smells you can bring your own or your also welcome to wash with soap and water. Since I have students coming and going through the studio and touching the keys it was recommended from other piano teacher friends as a precaution and for my students wellbeing.

As my normal policy, if you have a fever please cancel lessons as soon as you can. I will also do the same for myself and notify you of any sickness that is from a fever. If you have a concern that would involve more caution please let me know what your comfortable with.

As a studio, along with hand washing, I will be running my air purifier in the room, cleaning the piano area and door k***s during and after lesson days.

I DO NOT foresee cancelling lessons as a precaution but only if there is a sickness. My plan is to continue lessons as assigned for the rest of March, April and May. If your family has an iPhone or iPad I can accommodate video lessons at the same cost of a normal lesson paid via PayPal or cash due at next lesson.

I’m a little late posting my Student of the Month for April. Can’t believe later this week and it will be May. I’m so honored to have the following students, it’s been such a pleasure to see them grow and become really great pianist. Yes, we have student(s) for April. I just couldn’t decide between them, they all bring something great and wonderful, as each have their own unique personalities.

Anna-I choose you because of the go getter attitude. No challenge ever gets in your way and your always so excited to learn something more.

Elizabeth-I love how you pay attention to detail. I applaud you for taking your time and really focusing during our lessons. I’m also proud of the way you use your talent to glorify our Lord!

Last but not least John-I enjoy your energy, and your stories. Since we are just at the starting point I’m excited to see how you will use your energy as we progress in your piano playing.

Thanks again to the whole Stegeman Family, it’s great to see such a wonderful family, encouraging and nurturing their talents. It’s been a joy to get to know you over the years!
