Hey everyone—I wanted to take a minute and share an update.

We’ve decided to close the doors of Treehouse Clay.

This place has been such a big part of my life, and the memories made here will stay with me forever. I’ve met incredible people, shared so many conversations over a spinning wheel, and been blessed by more support than I ever could have imagined.

More than anything, I want to spend the time I have outside of work with my kids and grandkids—watching them grow, making memories with them, and being fully present in this season of life. That’s where my heart is these days.

To everyone who has taken a class, bought a piece, encouraged me, or just stopped in to say hello—thank you. Treehouse Clay was never just about pottery; it was about people, connection, and creativity. You all made this journey so special.

If you have any pieces that still need to be picked up, you can find them at Bloom & Burrow – Studio 28.

✨ Today’s Project at Treehouse Clay! ✨

From 2–6 PM, Bevyn will be down in the studio guiding anyone who’d like to make this adorable strawberry rinsing + washing piece 🍓🫶 You can create yours as either a bowl or a cup — both are super cute and functional for rinsing fruits, herbs, or veggies!

But don’t worry — you don’t have to make this project to join in. You’re always welcome to come in, get creative, and work on whatever piece inspires you.

👉 The studio rate is $30 per hour, and that covers everything you need to create.

Come play in the clay, unwind, and make something beautiful today 💛

We’ve got lots of works-in-progress hanging out on our shelves just waiting for their final touch ✨ If you spot one of yours, stop in during any of our open studio hours to glaze it!

Once it’s glazed, we can pop it in the kiln and you’ll have your finished piece ready to take home. 🏡💫

✨ Open Studio Today! ✨

We’re rolling up our sleeves from 2 PM – 6 PM and creating something extra special — this beautifully textured bowl (yep, just like the one in the photo 🥹).

We’re also changing things up a little bit on Tuesdays now that school is back in session — shifting hours so more people can attend! 🙌 (Don’t worry, Thursdays will still be 11–3 with Bevyn and 4–7 with Rodney.)

Whether you’re a first-timer or you’ve played in clay before, today’s a perfect chance to get creative, relax, and leave with something uniquely yours. 👐

No Rodney today, but he’ll be back next Thursday! 🎉

He’s off doing some back-to-school things this week, so the wheel will be quiet for now.

In the meantime, check out these photos from last Thursday when Rodney was working with Matthew and Sebastian—they created some seriously cool pieces!🏺 (Not fired yet, but they’re already looking amazing.) They also made some super cool gnomes with Bevyn today during open studio! Can’t wait to see the finished results!
