🌟 We are thrilled to bring Art Therapy sessions to our We Rock gym! Art therapy is more than just making crafts - it is a powerful, guided way for children of all abilities to:

Carly at Artuitive Therapy is a certified art therapist and shares a passion for our mission. Every child deserves a voice, and sometimes that voice speaks through colors, shapes, and textures. This program blends the freedom of creative expression with professional therapeutic support, all within our sensory-safe space.

Good evening 🌙 Rock Fam! We will have some wonky Open Play hours this week (June 8 - 12) but we are excited for some extra play time! Monday and Thursday are as normal! Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday have extended morning or early afternoon hours!

Hi, I'm Nicole! My passion for working with children started when I was a young adult in college. Over the last decade and a half, my passion for creating supportive, engaging, and inclusive environments has only grown. Before becoming a franchisee with We Rock The Spectrum, my husband and I have been multi-center owners for Mathnasium centers in the Triangle. My favorite part about Mathnasium was getting to work with the students, and seeing each and every "ah-ha" moment when a skill finally clicked! When our son was born, it was difficult to make my schedule work with Mathnasium. After some years of being a SAHM, I got back into it, but this time working from home as an Administrative Director. No longer working with students, I lost the joy of the job. As an owner of WRTS - Cary, that joy is finally back, and I am so honored to hold a space where children of all abilities can play, grow, and truly belong! For me, this isn't just a business - it's a mission to expand on the already inclusive community that has been built here and promote a culture where every child and teen feels seen, celebrated, and supported.

When I'm not at the gym, you can usually find me embracing the beautiful chaos of family life! I am a proud mom to my incredible 7-year-old son, Cooper, and partner-in-everything to my husband, Jeff. Our home also includes two crazy dogs who keep us on our toes and a cat who will miss my working from home every day 😹 Some fun facts about me: I love all things Disney; if it weren't for my husband, I would be a crazy cat lady; I am diagnosed with Level 1 Autism (recently diagnosed in 2025); I love to sing (I apologize in advance if you catch me singing in the gym 🫣); and I love being goofy with my husband and kid 🤪. I am so grateful to be a part of your village, and I can't wait to welcome your family into ours at the gym!

Hi, I'm Diane Meehan, and I am beyond excited to be one of the new co-owners of We Rock the Spectrum – Cary!

I'm a proud wife and mom, married to my husband Shaun and mom to my 8-year-old daughter Olivia and stepson Josh, 23. Olivia is already counting down the days to spend time at the gym and honestly, her excitement is contagious!

By day, I bring over 20 years of experience in HR Technology and People Operations, work that has always been rooted in one thing: people. Building strong teams, caring for communities, and creating environments where everyone belongs. It turns out, that's exactly what We Rock is all about too.

My heart for this work goes back even further, to my college days, when I worked at an after-school camp for children with special needs. That experience never left me. It planted a seed that led me right here, to this incredible community and this very special place.

I'm proud to call the Raleigh-Cary area home, and I am fully committed to making We Rock – Cary a space where every child feels seen, celebrated, and free to be exactly who they are. This is more than a business to me. It’s a calling.

Dear We Rock Families, Friends, and Community,

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

When Eden, Alex, and I first became part of We Rock The Spectrum – Cary, we knew it was special. But we could not have fully understood just how much this place would come to mean to our family.

As many of you know, our connection to We Rock has always been deeply personal. As parents to Alex, we understand how meaningful it is to find a place where your child can play freely, be themselves, and never have to feel like they are too much, too different, or not understood. We Rock has always stood for something powerful: finally, a place where you never have to say “I’m sorry.” That mission has lived in every birthday party, open play visit, camp day, preschool morning, and quiet moment of connection inside these walls.

We have watched children grow in confidence. We have seen families exhale when they realized they were in a place that truly understood. We have celebrated milestones big and small, from first friendships to brave new steps, from sensory wins to moments of pure joy on the zip line, trampoline, swings, and mats. Those memories will stay with us forever.

This decision is very bittersweet. After so much love, work, and heart poured into this gym, we are announcing the sale of We Rock The Spectrum – Cary has been completed. While it is emotional to step away, we are also incredibly grateful that the gym will continue forward with new ownership and the same important purpose: creating a safe, inclusive, judgment-free place for children of all abilities and their families.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your children. To our staff, thank you for showing up with patience, compassion, energy, and love. To our partners, providers, and community supporters, thank you for believing in this mission alongside us. And to every child who walked through our doors, thank you for filling this place with laughter, courage, movement, and magic.

We Rock has changed our lives. It gave our family more than we ever expected, and we are so proud of the community we built together. Although this chapter is closing for us as owners, we will always carry the memories, the relationships, and the mission with us.
