Tennessee feels a little less sparkly today. We’re remembering Dolly Parton not only for the music she gave the world, but for the joy, generosity, humor, and unmistakable East Tennessee spirit she carried with her everywhere she went.

Thank you for making us proud to call Tennessee home, Dolly. Rest in peace.
