In 2021, we opened our doors with a dream and a whole lot of hope — to create a place where families could gather, laugh, celebrate, and make memories together. What grew from that dream became so much more than a business. It became a full family arcade and restaurant, a place for birthday parties, events, catering, and everyday moments that we will forever hold close.

This space holds years of hard work, long nights, prayers, stress, laughter, and love. We watched our employees and kids grow, celebrated milestones, met incredible people, and felt the support of this community in ways we never expected. Every smile, every high score, every party, and every packed night truly meant something to us.

Over time, we spent many months reflecting, praying, and having honest conversations about what this season of life looks like for us and our family. Running a space like this takes heart, time, and energy — and sometimes growth means recognizing when it’s time to move forward differently.

With that clarity, we made the difficult but right decision to sell the property, and to permanently close Detention as we will not be relocating. This was not a choice made lightly, but it is one we feel confident in and at peace with. Saying goodbye to something you built from the ground up is never easy, even when you know it’s the right step.

Even in the bittersweet moments, there is overwhelming gratitude — for the memories made, the lessons learned, and the people who became part of our story. This chapter is closing, but it will always be a part of us and something we are incredibly proud of.

Thank you to every customer, employee, vendor, and supporter who believed in us and walked through our doors. You helped turn a dream into something real, and we will never forget it 🤍
