We were so excited to welcome our **Sherman County Court** to the Sherman County Fair this year! What a wonderful way to bring local government into the heart of our community and make county leadership accessible to our fairgoers. ❤️

A huge **THANK YOU** to **Judge Joe**, **Commissioners Joan and Justin**, and of course **Tammi** for holding your proceedings at the fair and for showing your support for the Sherman County Fair and the community we all call home!

We love seeing our local leaders out among the people, connecting with neighbors, answering questions, and being a part of the fair experience. It’s just one more reminder of what makes **Sherman County such a special place to live!** 🇺🇸

🏆✨ Introducing “The Pioneer” Open Class Challenge! ✨🏆

As the dust settles on another fantastic Sherman County Fair, we want to give some special recognition to the very first winner of our brand-new Open Class contest — “The Pioneer”! 🎉

This challenge was no small feat! To compete, exhibitors had to enter 3 exhibits in 3 different divisions, for a total of 9 entries. Talk about bringing your A-game! 👏

A great big congratulations to WB Ranch for taking home the cash prize — and, of course, the ultimate prize: bragging rights as our very first “Pioneer” champion! 🥳🏆

Now the question is… who is up for the challenge next year? 🤠

🎪❤️ **THAT’S A WRAP ON THE SHERMAN COUNTY FAIR!** ❤️🎪

And just like that, another fair is in the books! As the fairgrounds get a little quieter today, we want to take a moment to say **THANK YOU** to the incredible people who made this week possible.

To all the **parents, volunteers, 4-H Leaders, Extension Office staff, Fair Board members, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, and the many unnamed people working behind the scenes** — we truly couldn’t do it without you. From early mornings to late nights, your time, energy, and dedication are what make the Sherman County Fair so special. ❤️

**THANK YOU for showing up, pitching in, lending a hand, cheering on our youth, and helping make memories that will last a lifetime.** We appreciate every single one of you! 🙌

For those helping with cleanup, here’s today’s limited schedule:

☕ **8:00–10:00 AM** — “Thank You!” Breakfast hosted by the Sherman County Fair Board

🧹 **8:30 AM** — All Barn & Building Cleanup + Picking Up Exhibits

💰 **10:00 AM–12:00 PM** — Premium Payouts Available at the Fair Office

We can’t wait to see you at the **Sherman County Fair Demolition Derby tonight, Saturday, August 22nd!**

The fun begins at **6:30 p.m.**, but make sure you arrive a little early so you don’t miss the **Vintage Showcase Parade** featuring the incredible cars, trucks, and farm equipment from our showcase!

Then stick around after the derby for a great night of live music featuring our own local talent, **Miles From Nowhere!** 🎶🤠

🏅 4-H/FFA Awards will follow the contest
