Retro Reload

One of my favorite things about Retro Reload is watching generations connect. Parents come in with their kids and get excited about the games they grew up playing, then get to share those memories and experiences with them.

Seeing friends gather, families laugh together, and new memories being made every day reminds me why this place is so special. Yesterday, some of my lovely friends got to hang out together, and it was another one of those moments that made me smile.

Honestly, I wish there had been a place this awesome when I was a kid. ❤️🎮

For everyone who has an issue with my shop not being a bar, let me explain something:

Not everything in life needs to revolve around alcohol.

As someone who is in recovery, and proud of it, (have been for multiple years) I believe our community needs more spaces where people can gather, connect, have fun, and be fully present without alcohol being the center of the experience.

There are plenty of bars and places to drink. What I’ve created at Retro Reload is different. I’ve built a community focused space where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together, enjoy themselves, and make real connections.

Not every business needs to serve alcohol to be successful, welcoming, or fun.

So if you’re waiting for Retro Reload to become a bar, you can stop waiting. It isn’t going to happen.

Im proud of what we’re building, and Im committed to keeping it that way.
