Our next Graduating Senior, Mia DeFelice!

💜Plans for Next Year:
Attending WVU and major in Nursing

💃🏼Favorite Dance Memory:
When I would do my solo on stage, I always would look over and see my whole dance family supporting me and cheering me on no matter what. I also always looked forward to huddling up before any dance performance and taking three big “ins and outs” all together.

😺Advice for a Younger Dancer:
Always push yourself to go further than you think you can go. It is always okay to make a mistake because that’s when you know you’ve tried your best. Welcome everyone always because these types of friendships will be ones that last forever and always put on a big smile not only for yourself but for others too just to make them feel a little better that day!

💜Plans for Next Year: I plan on attending the WVU radiology program to become an x-ray technician!

🎸Favorite Dance Memory: I loved attending the West Virginia Dance Festival! Getting to take classes with new teachers and spend the weekend with everyone. I will miss the performances and everything so much!

🎶Advice for a younger dancer: Make sure to enjoy it! Don’t be too hard on yourself and have fun. It goes by so quick

Our First Senior Spotlight for this season is Mairin Gillespie! 🎸Plans for Next Year: I plan to attend WVU and major in Hospitality & Tourism, and eventually go to Cosmetology school.

🎸Favorite Dance Memory: Getting ready backstage before recital. Touching up our hair and makeup, singing and dancing, making Tik Tok’s, taking a million pictures, nonstop laughing, and just soaking in all the excitement together

🎸Advice for a Younger Dancer: Be kind to people because you never truly know what someone else is going through behind closed doors. A small compliment, a little patience, or simply being there for someone can mean more than you realize. The way you treat others leaves a lasting impact, so always choose kindness when you can.
