🐢📚 Krepps Kritters is back this summer! 🌳

Join the Morgantown Public Library for a fun, free outdoor story time experience at Krepps Park! Designed for children ages 3–6, each session includes stories, songs, crafts, bubbles, chalk fun, a snack to go, and occasional special guests.

📍 Krepps Park Pavilion
⏰ 10:00 a.m. (approximately 45 minutes)
👧 Ages 3–6
📝 Registration is limited to the first 24 children and takes place in person on the day of the program.

2026 Dates:
🐢 June 18 – Turtle Time at the Park
🐒 June 25 – Monkey Business
🐸 July 23 – Hop On Over to the Park
🐦 July 30 – Birds of a Feather

Due to the closure of the Aquatic Play Area (APA) for necessary repairs, we have made the decision to postpone the Neighborhood Event scheduled for June 16. We want to ensure the community has the best possible experience, and the current circumstances would not allow us to provide the event as planned. We appreciate your understanding and patience as repairs are completed. A rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued support.

Looking for a flexible part-time position this summer? Join the BOPARC team as a Seasonal Customer Service Representative!

This position serves as a primary point of contact for our community, assisting with facility rentals, program registrations, customer inquiries, and general information about BOPARC parks, facilities, programs, and events.

💲 Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour
📅 Seasonal position through August 15, 2026
⏰ Flexible daytime schedule:
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – approximately 2 hours per day
• Tuesday – 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

This opportunity is ideal for a working parent, retiree, college student, or anyone looking for flexible daytime hours. Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills are required.

Planning a day in the park? Please be aware that the BOPARC mowing crew will be servicing the following areas today, 6-15-26. For safety purposes, always maintain a safe distance from the mowers and other equipment (approximately 50ft). Do not allow children to touch mowing equipment or trailers. We ask that you temporarily move to a different area of the park while crew members service the area that you are utilizing. Patrons do NOT need to leave the park, but we ask that you yield to the mowing crew so that they can complete their daily tasks in a timely, safe manner. Thank you for your assistance and understanding as we work hard to keep your parks well-maintained!
