Phil Leadbetter will always be with us and praised as a musician, a friend, as family, and as a warrior and we could think of no better way to honor his memory than to induct him into the Bill Monroe Bluegrass Hall of Fame. Join us at the Uncle Pen Fest September 24-26, 2026 when we proudly place “Uncle” Phil among his many heroes in the place where he spent so much time himself. Phil’s son .matt and long time friend and partner in music will be with us to honor him. It will be a day to remember at Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground in beautiful Southern Indiana. We hope to see you there for this celebration of a very special man!
