🚨 Important Announcement from Morgantown Escape Room 🚨

After a lot of thought and careful consideration, we want to share that Morgantown Escape Room will be closing our doors at the end of April 2026.

This decision was not made lightly. We are incredibly grateful for the support, excitement, and memories our community has shared with us over the last 10 years we've been open.

If you have an unused gift card, now is the time to use it. Gift cards will be honored through our final month of operation in April. We encourage you to book sooner rather than later to ensure availability.

Thank you to everyone who has played, shared, celebrated birthdays, gone on dates, brought teams, held bachelor(ette) parties, and supported this little business. We are so proud of what we built here over the last 10 years of business and that we were able to open the first escape rooms in West Virginia.

Again, bookings remain open through April.
Availability is limited, so please book early to guarantee your spot.

🚨 HUNTING TIP ALERT 🚨
As you’re solving the puzzles and heading out to find the hidden boxes, remember: not everything will be sitting out in plain sight. Some are easy to spot, but others will take a little extra searching.
You may need to:
• Step just a few feet off the path
• Look under/inside natural or manmade features
• Check low bushes, tree roots, or tucked-away corners
• Brush aside a few leaves or look from a different angle
Accessibility Notes:
• Location #5 requires a strenuous hike.
• Location #2 requires climbing a few stairs.
• All other locations are on relatively flat terrain and are handicap accessible.
Don’t worry -- we’ve kept safety in mind! Nothing requires climbing trees, digging, or putting yourself in danger. That said -- please exercise caution and common sense when looking around in nature, as you may find a curious and/or scared critter or two along the way. 🐍
Part of the fun is in the hunt itself, so think like a detective and keep your eyes sharp. Look high and low. If it looks like a good place to hide something, check it out. If some boxes prove extra tricky (like we suspect they will), we’ll drop photo clues later to help you out. Until then, happy searching and good luck out there!
