Some love stories don't end. They just pause. 🤍

In 1967, two 16-year-olds sat across from each other in French class. She threw him his 16th birthday party. He never forgot her.

Life happened the way life does. They built separate lives. Decades passed.

And then — somehow, beautifully, impossibly — they found each other again. In their 70s. After more than 50 years.

Days ago, Debra and Danny Simpson stood inside The Barn at Timber Ridge and finally said the words they were always meant to say to each other.

I do.

There was not a dry eye in the room. There wasn't a dry eye behind the camera either. 😭

We have the privilege of hosting love stories here almost every single weekend. But this one? This one we will never forget.

To Debra and Danny — thank you for reminding all of us that it is never, ever too late for love. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Simpson. 🤍

Brand new concrete sidewalk leading to our upgraded Timberview Ceremony Site — fully wheelchair accessible so every single guest can easily be right there for your most important moment.

And yes... those are hearts built right into the concrete. Because of course there are 🤍

Something really special has been happening behind the scenes at Timber Ridge… and we are finally able to share it with you!

We didn’t just make a small upgrade — we made a full transformation across all three of our spaces… and officially stepped into the luxury experience we’ve always envisioned for our couples.

Every ceremony. Every reception. Every photo. Elevated.

Lakeview Site
We said goodbye to the old (and honestly… well-loved but tired) chairs and welcomed in gorgeous wooden crossback chairs that feel timeless, romantic, and effortlessly upscale.

Timberview Site
Our newly finished open air chapel is now complete with sleek black crossback chairs — clean, modern, and absolutely stunning against the natural backdrop.
And yes… construction is DONE! Landscaping is right around the corner and it’s going to bring everything together in the most beautiful way.

Reception Barn
This one has to be our personal favorite… we introduced premium cane chairs that bring warmth, texture, and that elevated feel to your reception space. Still vintage, and wooden, yet refined.

And because we care about the experience just as much as the look — we also built a brand new storage barn to properly house our inventory and keep everything in pristine condition moving forward.

There’s just something about a fall wedding that hits differently… and this one was pure magic. Sharing Chase + Jennifer's gorgeous wedding!

From the moment guests arrived, the changing leaves set the most beautiful backdrop for the day. The bridesmaids wore the dreamiest terracotta dresses (seriously… obsessed), tying in perfectly with all the warm, romantic details throughout.

Their lakeside ceremony felt straight out of a movie — live classical music playing as they said “I do,” with the water and autumn colors all around them. It was one of those moments where everything just felt still in the best way.

And then… the desserts. Because why choose just one? 😉
Three different cakes AND a cookie station loaded with all kinds of treats — it was such a fun (and delicious) touch that guests couldn’t stop talking about.

But more than anything, it was the love between these two and the joy surrounding them that made the day so special. You could feel it everywhere.

We feel so lucky to have been a small part of your story. Wishing you both a lifetime full of love, laughter, and cozy fall memories together 🤍

Congratulations to Brian & Kari!

Brian and Kari were an absolute BLAST to celebrate 🤍 Married in October 2023, their wedding day was full of laughter, personality, and unforgettable moments. From the fall décor featuring pumpkins sprinkled throughout the space, to the trees showing off in peak autumn glory (as they always do), everything felt perfectly seasonal and so them.

And let’s talk about that cake moment… they didn’t just smash the cake — they went full send and had everyone laughing! 😂 It was one of those moments you know guests will talk about forever.

Brian & Kari, thank you for bringing so much fun, energy, and joy to your wedding day. Wishing you a lifetime of love, laughter, and continued adventures together.
