Deep in the heart of Appalachian Mountains, under treetops and mountain mists, the foxfire glows — a rare and ghostly light born from the forest floor. I’m an artist and

maker with a love for the mysterious and the beautiful. My hands are rarely still — one day painting or drawing, the next crocheting by lamplight, drying herbs, or setting crystals into charms. Every item in my shop is crafted with intention, infused with a little bit of mountain magic, and shaped by my fascination with the macabre, the mystical, and the natural world. Sorry for being MIA recently! Late spring, all of summer, until mid fall is primarily all Sunny Sips focus.

As y'all know, I co-own that business with my sister-in-law. Since late April we have been busy bees with event planning, buying supplies, coordinating all of the nitty gritty business stuff, and going to events to make and sell our lemonades! During the week I am usually making lemon keychains like these babies and even some sunshines that match our logo (which will be available soon!), all while caring for my mother and my now 2 year old toddler. 🤪

Forgive my lack of presence. But know I am orchestrating chaos as most befitting of a chaos witch and artsy momma lol

Happy New Year everybody!

My wonderful husband thought of a neat idea to organize my yarn in December. Not as a Christmas present, just a because kind of thing. As of last night, I have finally balled, organized by color, and hung all of my yarn and crocheting supplies on my new peg board in my office. I will eventually paint and decorate the office itself now that I have access to it. But guys, look how professional this s**t looks. No more guessing how much and what colors I have!

It has been a crazy 30 days! I am so grateful for the opportunity to share what makes me happy each day with all of my NEW FOLLOWERS!! Day #29— I was nominated by Hook & Stitches

This is me back in June of 2015. I was in Japan for 10 months and this was taken in front of the school I attended on our commencement ceremony for the end of our year. I got to study Japanese art and culture and experience the heritage sites and rich culture in person. I will never forget my time there and I will never not miss being there. It makes me so happy that I made one of my biggest dreams come true by going to Japan 🇯🇵

My other business I co-own/operate with my sister. Sunny Sips ! We just started our biz this summer and it has been super fun at each of the events we vended at. We sell gourmet fresh squeezed lemonades and are looking to try some new mixes and drinks for next summer! ✨️🍋🌞
