We offer monthly workshops, clay camps, private/group lessons, and mud parties (a night of creating clay pieces with all your friends either in your home or at The Mud Barn). While clay is one of our main focuses we offer lessons and workshops in all types of art media.

Christmas Clearance Glazing and Sale
Date: Saturday, December 15, 2018
Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Come on out this Saturday to glaze and shop! Since we will be closing and moving soon, prices will be low and this will be a great time to stock up on handmade Christmas presents or just something for yourself. In the pictures you can see what's available to glaze. I'll also post pictures of finished items that will be available for purchase as well. Everything is first come, first serve so come on out!

Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since we have posted anything, but I just wanted to let everyone know what's going on. We've been out of the barn for a year now and due to our current circumstances we will unfortunately not be reopening. With three little ones, my oldest daughter starting school, and the distance from my home, it's just not feasible for me to continue. I love teaching and working with clay so this has definitely been a hard decision for me. I hope to move to a location at my home at some point and possibly offer smaller classes there. We have greatly enjoyed getting to know you all and are so thankful for all of your support through the years! We will be having a final sale and glazing day coming up soon so please stay tuned for details!

Independent Study Workshop
Have you missed one of our previous workshops? Do you have a certain project you would like to create? Then this is the workshop for you! Look through our photos or search the web for clay hand-building ideas and let us know what you would like to create.

Time: 6-8 PM

Just a quick reminder to those that signed up about the Leaf Workshop! It's from 6-8pm, tomorrow night. All tools and materials are provided so just bring yourself. We will have a various selection of leaves for you to choose from, but if there are some certain types/sizes of leaves that you want to use, please bring those with you! We're looking forward to seeing all of you there! We still have a few spots open, so if you've been thinking about coming, please come join us! If you haven't been to the barn before and need directions, please just let us know or give us a call!
*The forecast looks favorable for us tomorrow and all should be fine to have the workshop as scheduled; however, if the weather were to change we will update you of any changes needed!

Leaf Workshop
Come create a pottery piece using real leaves. Using slabs of clay and basic hand-building techniques you will create your own functional and/or decorative piece of pottery with leaves. You can choose to create a larger bowl using multiple leaves or use individual leaves for items such as, spoon rests, butter dishes, napkin holders, etc. The possibilities are endless with this workshop and is great for the beginner or experienced potter!

Bird House Workshop
Come create a clay bird house. Using slabs of clay create a functional and/or decorative bird house. The possibilities are endless with this workshop and is great for the beginner or experienced potter!

We just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know that we should be resuming workshops in August! Dates, times, and info will be posted soon. We apologize for the delay - it's been a busy summer and we've had some health issues in my family that have put us behind schedule. We look forward to creating with you all again soon!
