Are you a coach?

Are you trying to cultivate relationships with your clients or are you trying to win them?

There’s a tendency in coaching relationships to engage in what (follow them) calls “relational f&ckery.” Because while we are trying to be right and to avoid feeling things at work, we are not connecting joyfully and getting to human with each other.

Ooof.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. You can be vulnerable… and highly effective. In fact, you will be MOST effective as a coach if you show up as you are, with all of your passion and creativity and… awkwardness.
