About the show: Step into the powerful world of Trojan Women, a gripping dramatic play that explores the aftermath of war through the eyes of the women left behind after the fall of Troy. Filled with heartbreak, resilience, loss, and humanity, this timeless story follows queens, mothers, and daughters as they face uncertain futures and struggle to hold onto hope. ✨Introducing Leo Jones-Morton, our guest speaker following TONIGHTS performance of The Laramie Project! Leo is a big voice in our community and will be doing a “talkback” after the show about his role in our small town and the “pros/cons” that come with it! Feel free to ask his questions!

About Leo:
The Rev. Leo Jones-Morton is the Senior Pastor of Unifour Church in Newton, North Carolina, where he is known for his affirming ministry, passionate preaching, and commitment to creating spaces where all people are fully welcomed and loved. A pastor, author, speaker, and advocate, Leo also serves as President of the Board of Directors for Catawba Valley Pride, working to strengthen visibility, support, and community for LGBTQ+ people across the region. He is the author of Glitter Psalms, a collection of reflections and spiritual writings centered on faith, healing, authenticity, and the sacred beauty of LGBTQ+ lives. Beyond ministry and advocacy, Leo is a devoted husband to his husband Alex, a proud father to Gio, and a loving “cat dad” to Fabbi and Cornelia, who keep life entertaining, chaotic, and full of personality. His work continues to bridge faith, compassion, and liberation with honesty, humor, and hope.

What is Industry Night?
This night is for all of the artists who know what it means to create theatre, support theatre, and to show up for it. We believe deeply in artists supporting artists and in keeping live theatre accessible to the people who make this ecosystem possible. If you are an artist, in any capacity, simply bring in your resume when coming to see the show for FREE ENTRY!

Why bring in a resume?
It’s simple, bring in your resume as your “ticket” to the show and we will keep it! We are always looking for artists of any kind for all our events! So, what better way to create an artist database than to have artists supporting artist! And who knows, if we are in a pinch and looking for someone, we might just give you a call!
