Shallow Bowl: Cat staring at the moon

The coolest thing about this shallow bowl is that the speckled brownstone clay it’s made from shows its flecks, making it look like stars in the sky. One of a kind shallow bowl, thrown on my pottery wheel, then decorated using sgraffito style tree branches and a cat gazing up toward the center of the bowl, where the moon is. The stars, cast by the specks in the clay, are a neat add-on, that I didn't expect....
