When we have a "normal" child, that gets good grades, we are happy. When a child does what we ask, we are happy. It's a "normal" joy because, of course, it is our duty. But for someone with any limitations, whose learning process may be longer than that of the other kids.... happiness for every little progress is a "special" joy.
I would like to ask you a favor on a subject that is important to me:
For special education, Autism, dyslexia, ADD, and ADHD, for all children who struggle every day to be successful and for those who seek to help them.
It would be good to teach our children to be kind and accept all their classmates. Children with special needs are not strangers. They want what everyone else wants: to be accepted!!!
