It’s been scientifically proven that children learn best through PLAY! That’s why our curriculum uses themes and stories kids can quickly recognize - connecting the dots to dance steps. I'm so excited to have one of my old dance friends come by for a special class! Brenna has extensive experience in acting on the stage, and in front the camera. She is a graduate of UL, where she majored in theater, and has an interest in working in casting. Acting is a HUGE part of developping as a dancer, and this class is sure to take your knowledge to the next level! Free for current students, or $12.00 for drop-ins! Send a message for details.

MEET THE TEAM! Part 3!
Over the next few days, we'll be introducing our staff of highly qualified Dancer Educators. Together, we bring a variety of certifications, education, experience, and specialties. We believe dancers deserve proper technique, knowledgeable instruction, individualized feedback, and a classroom environment that is both positive and encouraging.

Welcome MRS BREE! Instructor/Photographer
Bree is a native of Saint Amant Louisiana, and spent her childhood dancing at Lori's School of Dance, and All About Dance in Gonzales. She also competed as an Allstart Cheerleader in Junior High and High School. Bree is a veteran teacher at Berwick High School, where she assists and directs productions with the drama and theater club. She has spent much of her time working and living in New Orleans as a Chef, and has a Culinary Arts degree from Nicholls State University. She is a past Festival Queen for the Pirates and Boots Festival, and La Fete Des Vieux Temps Festival, and offers pageant coaching. Her experience with Renaissance Fairs and the Leviathan Pirate Krewe have given her a wealth of creativity when choreographing routines - like incorporating scarves, swords, and a giant flip phone in her dances.
She is a talented photographer and is the lens behind the studios dance portraits!

"I teach dance because I think everyone should be able to express themselves in a safe environment. My motivation is my child, Zelda. I'm happy that I can be part of the MCDT community where she will grow up around people who I know will support her and push her to be better."
