Safe Way To Install Crown Molding?
I ran out of wood, but I figured I'll just stay on the ladder...the ceiling is 10 ft and I thought this would be safer than extending the ladder from down on the stairs. I especially don't want to hurt the drywall and this seemed like a way to avoid it.

I'm really afraid of heights, and this looks kinda like a floor so it won't feel as high, but I'm not sure how to know if it's safe.

I'm about 170 pounds and the ladder is...I dunno....another 20?

Acceptable work from contractor?
These are birch baseboards. I heard the installers agonizing over how the walls aren’t straight, and so I don’t want them to feel attacked at all if it was literally impossible for them to do this job correctly.

Room is about 225 square feet and it took three people 2.5 hours to install.

I haven’t given them the final payment yet. So I am hoping the finish work can be improved but I wanted advice before then.

How to fix this awkward entrance. Garage left, house right. I want to improve the entrances to my garage ( left) and my house (right). Garage door sets 3inches above the concrete slab. The house door is 38” off the slab. In between house and garage is 64”. Not sure how fix the stairs here so they’re even and not awkward like as is. I plan on putting in a solid walkway but keeping the concrete pad currently under stairs. It’s dirt right now and whenever I can get a couple hundred free bricks I plan on installing a brick path.
