We want to extend a HUGE thank you to the Hinkle Foundation here at Morehead State for supporting MSU Theatre by bringing in professional stage manager Kate Goodwin for joining us last week to host an incredible stage management workshop!

We’re so grateful for the time, knowledge, and insight shared with our students. Not only is she an expert in stage management, Kate serves as the associate Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Middle Tennessee State University, where she teaches stage management and a multitude of other technical theatre courses. It was an invaluable opportunity to learn from such an accomplished theatre professional!

Joining our group of successful seniors, Natalie Shoemaker, a theatre education major, has accepted the position of K–12 Theatre Teacher at Eminence Independent Schools in Eminence, Kentucky, where she will begin teaching theatre across all grade levels and supporting the growth of the school’s theatre program.

Natalie is excited to bring her training in theatre education into the classroom and work with students to build creativity, confidence, and performance skills through the arts.
