The USA is turning 250 this year. Von Holten Ranch is celebrating being family owned for 120 years.

The Country Tough Trail Versatility MO State Championship Series FINALS is June 27-28, 2026.

CT2V is a trail versatility association in its 8th year and was developed right here at Von Holten Ranch.

There are divisions based on the rider's horsemanship level:
Trail Boss
Bronc Buster
Maverick
Wrangler

Divisions based on the age of the competitor:
Trail Blazer
Youth

Divisions for developing equine:
Green Horn
Futurity

Two different in-hand divisions:
Foundations I
Foundations II

And a lead line division called Buckaroo.

CT2V competitor, Lissa Nelson, is in step with her horse, Frenchmans Karmel QT.

The first of two Lee Hart clinics for 2026🏆 It was a clinic filled with drills, active saddle time, confidence building, and horsemanship betterment.

It was also time to make friends, go for a walk, share a meal, and enjoy life.

September 18-19-20 is the next Lee Hart clinic at Von Holten Ranch. Limited availability remaining.

Group 1 trains from 8-10am & 12:30-2:30pm

Group 2 trains from 20am-12pm & 2:30-4:30pm

Chix in the Sticks is just FUN!!!

Getting to know these women brings me joy! We celebrate children coming home from military deployment, children winning baseball leagues, ladies finishing degrees, and we talk about life.

We joke, we laugh, we talk, and eat…..and we enjoy our horses, mules, and this time a donkey.

This group had three mother daughter pairs, an employer with two close employees and her best friend, two ladies who came solo, two good friends (one brought her three-legged dog), and a group of three friends who have been through lots of life together and are a tight knit friend family.

I love everything about Chix in the Sticks!

Mrs. Mary Ella’s meal was another success. She’s such a highlight.

Our next Chix in the Sticks is the last weekend in August. We have availability in it, plus our September Chix, and our last Chix for 2026 in November. Our October Chix are currently full.
