Splish, splash, we are playing in the creek!

We see horses that like to sip water, horses that guzzle water, horses that like to blow bubbles, and horses who like to submerge their entire head in water.

We see water pawers, horse that are scared of water, horses that tip top through water, and horses that go too fast through water.

Just the greatest meal on the planet, that’s all.

Our “meal out” that is included with our Chix in the Sticks event is at a wonderful woman’s house named Mrs. Mary Ella.

She literally snapped the fresh green beans that morning for our lunch 💚

Our next Chix in the Sticks is scheduled for June 1-4 and we have SIX open spots in that event.

Memorial Day Weekend is PERFECT!

Trail riders, husband and wife pairs, mothers and daughters, and Chix in the Sticks going on!

Around 60% of the trails have been freshly mowed. If you want to come and day ride, just bring your negative Coggins and $20. Also make sure to check out our new shirts and hats!

The Blue Trail is close to the creek and is a beast to keep trimmed.

Next early spring we are planning on burning underbrush to clean things up and to help with the tick population. The Blue Trail is in the area we will burn first.

David Von Holten has spent a few hours each day over the span of a week mowing trails. It is a constant job but appreciated when it’s done.

Here’s a before and after of an area that had some limbs down.
