Day 2 and 3 of tour are complete! 🎉

We spent Day 2 at the University of South Dakota, performing in Aalfs Auditorium. We had an opportunity to do Horn and Cello masterclasses with Dr. Sonja Kraus and Dr. Amy Laursen, as well as meet their director of orchestras Dr. Chun-Ming Chen. Thank you to USD for being the most kind hosts and allowing us to perform in your beautiful space.

Day 3 was in Sioux City, Iowa, where we performed in Eppley Auditorium at Morningside University. Another beautiful space that we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to play in. Thank you to Dr. Brandt for giving us such a great opportunity.

Tomorrow, the orchestra will be spending the day at the University of Omaha! Make sure you’re following us to stay updated on everything Spring Tour!

Today, the Concordia Orchestra will perform a concert at Eppley Auditorium in Sioux City, Iowa at 2 pm and another on Tuesday at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Day 1 of our 2026 Spring Tour brought us to Watertown High School in South Dakota for a side-by-side with their orchestras, concert band, as well as a lunch time concert towards the afternoon! We absolutely loved our time there, and we thank Mr. Chilson for allowing us to work with such a fun group of students.

Tomorrow, our tour will take us to Vermillion, South Dakota where we’ll have an evening performance in Aalfs Auditorium at 7:00 PM! Admission is free, so bring plenty of friends and family!

IT’S HERE! 🎉 We are so excited to announce our 2026 Spring Tour! The Concordia Orchestra will be venturing south to show off an exciting, varied program including pieces by Mahler, Bao Yuankai, Saint-Saëns, a Midwest premiere from Brianna Ware, and more!

We’ll conclude our tour with a Home concert in Memorial Auditorium in Moorhead on March 14th!

We are so excited to show off our work on this tour and see and meet new faces in new places! Make sure to follow the orchestra to stay updated on our tour, and learn more about the pieces we’ll be performing!

We've been having a blast preparing Mahler 6 for our upcoming tour in March! This week we've had the great pleasure of welcoming Dr. SĂĽtterlin's friend Dr. Hsin Ke-Yuan with us for a weeklong orchestra masterclass. We had an amazing time, and learned so much!

The Concordia Orchestra had their annual retreat this past weekend! We had so much fun spending time and creating fun memories, and we’re excited for the year ahead of us with our first concert this Saturday in Memorial Auditorium at 6:30 pm. We hope to see you there!
