One of my favorite parts of creating slip-casting ceramics is finding molds. Sometimes you have to dig through a barn that hasn't seen the light of day in 10 years. Other times, you gotta drive 2.5 hours to meet up with a seller Either way, it's worth it!

Back in the Badio this weekend, workin' my hiney off! Yesterday, I poured, and today, I'm firing some greenware.
It's another full kiln, too! I have a couple of pieces from new-to-me molds, 2 skulls for my neighbor, and CATS!!!!
You might be wondering why there's a headless cat. Well, that one broke while pulling from the mold. SOMEone (me) forgot to pull it, and the poor thing sat overnight. Thankfully, it was a clean break. I'm going to try to drill some holes, then wire it shut. We'll see if that works.

Second drop of today is at First Ave Market!
I dropped off 2 skulls, a large cat with bats, some small cats, & a soot sprite mushroom. It's a great day to !

Temps finally cooled off enough to fire! Round 1 starts now. I was able to fit in:

3 flowery skulls 💀
2 special order tall cats 😻
1 special order trivet 🏆🏀
1 mushroom 🍄
And many small cats

Fingers crossed these will turn out ok! We'll know tomorrow 🤞
