Today marks 25 years since the events of 9/11 touched all our lives in many ways. As we remember the lives lost, the impact that it had on our lives, and the many men and women that we will forever honor as heroes—we also recognize the incredible strength as a nation. We hope you will join us in a remembrance walk and ceremony in Downtown Mooresville this morning, beginning at 8:46am Richards Coffee Shop. Don’t miss the walking art exhibit in honor of 25 Years Later, featuring these artists and more.

Did you know that the Cloudscapes Series by Peter Tietbohl was crafted specifically for the Heaven on Earth exhibit? That makes these 2 glass vessels ✨LIMITED EDITION…… From molten glass to finished form, Peter and his team layer white murrine, clear and blue glass, then carefully blow and sculpt the vessel into its fin shape.🔥 See them in person at the gallery, purchase them to see them permanently at home (see what we did there…). Gallery open today 2-8pm and tomorrow 10am-2pm with EXTRA HOURS 5-8:30pm.

💙 CALL FOR ARTISTS: “blue” — A Members’ Exhibit! 💙

Mooresville Arts members, this is your opportunity to share your interpretation of blue! Whether inspired by a particular hue, emotion, cultural symbolism, or something entirely personal, we want to see your perspective.

This curated, members-only exhibit has space for just 25 pieces. To be considered, submit 3 representative images of your artwork—they should not need to be the actual piece you plan to exhibit. All mediums accepted!

📅 Submission Deadline: Monday, September 14 at 5pm
📬 Artists Notified: Friday, September 18
🖼️ Exhibit Dates: November 20–December 23, 2026

There is no cost to apply (one of the MANY member perks!) and we will celebrate the opening of this exhibit in November at a special "First Look" ticketed reception... more details to come!
