Mooresville Community Childrens Theatre We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing theatre performance, production and viewing experiences for youth ages 6-18.

The Mooresville Community Children’s Theater (MCCT) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing theatre performance, production and viewing experiences for Mooresville and surrounding communities with an emphasis on including children ages 6 through 18 who have not been exposed to the world of Performing Arts. We believe that theatre can help a child grow in the following ways: Impr

oves communication skills, encourages use of imagination, gives an opportunity to express oneself, enhances the ability to think critically, Inspires cooperation with others, teamwork development in achieving joint goals, and helps develop moral values, nourishes sensitivity, fosters understanding of others feelings, provides a safe and welcoming environment, supports peer acceptance and self-worth.

We said goodbye to the farm last Sunday afternoon! Thank you to the Charles Mack Citizens Center for beingbour ‘home theater’…. In helping us put on an amazing show with the absolute best cast of youngsters!! The work ethic, and talentsf our cast and crew raised the future bar! Students in the booth, back stage, and front of house also left us beaming with pride. Thank you to Wendi, Annie, Tess, Lucas and parents for leading our team! Memories were made, friendships developed, audiences cried (and laughed). This was certainly Community with a capital ‘C’! Thank you, thank you thank you to all of the parents, volunteers, Charles Mack, cast & crew! The production of The Outsiders was a beautiful story brought to life on stage.
