Yesterday was a truly special day! Every year, recital day reminds me why I do what I do. Watching our dancers step onto that stage with confidence, joy, and pride after months of hard work is something that never gets old. Seeing their smiles, their growth, their friendships, and the love they have for one another is the greatest reward 🩷
To our incredible staff: Thank you will never be enough. You are truly the backbone of DDC. The long hours, the endless rehearsals, the extra hands, the encouragement, the love you pour into these dancers… none of it goes unnoticed!!! Darden Dance Company is what it is because of the incredible people standing beside me. I am endlessly grateful for each of you 🩷🩵
As I looked around the auditorium yesterday, I was overwhelmed by how blessed I am. Blessed by our dancers, our families, our staff, and the community we’ve built together. DDC is so much more than a dance studio! It is a family, and I don’t take that for granted for a single second 🙏🏼
And to our dancers, families, volunteers, and supporters,thank you for helping make Recital 2026 so magical. 🩵 Thank you for trusting us with your children, for believing in our vision, and for making this season so incredibly special.
