About Bullhorn Gypsy Founder, Cassandra Allen
Cassandra has been working in advertising, public relations, direct mail and marketing for over 20 years. She began working for Phillip Morris, becoming intimate with grant funding and public relations processes. Next, she ventured to Columbia House, and mastered the art of campaign management – interacting with marketing, direct mail, and advertising
personnel to annually drop billions of direct mail kits to the United States homes in record times. After a few years of excelling at her duties, Cassandra transitioned to another part of the industry – direct mail production management. In this role, she challenged herself to help Com-Pak Services increase productivity and efficiency, as well as place Com-Pak in a position to more strongly compete within its niche. She brought passion and knowledge to expand communications systems, birth proprietary management applications, and educate staff to work smarter. Com-Pak increased visibility in its markets and many of Cassandra’s efforts lead to Com-Pak establishing itself as a competitor with pioneering processes, leading to upper-echelon company output. Cassandra’s work ethics, passion and commitment took her to another part of the industry – software development for the marketing, direct mail, and advertising industries. She spent several years at GrayHair Software, taking part in groundbreaking projects that would change the industries of interest, forever. She and a team of incredibly bright members accepted the challenge to build software applications to track the countries direct mail. And the team succeeded; GrayHair Software is recognized as the leading national provider of its types of services. Next, Cassandra took on advertising and achieved her goal to mesh her technical and artistic gifts through academic studies. She attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design. Her passions lead to a 4.0 GPA and recognition in school catalogs and collateral related to student models. Cassandra’s next move - a friend had written some great books and she had no clue how to get from the manuscript to the public. Cassandra volunteered to help with the undertaking, realizing she could mesh her technical and artistic passions for the tasks that lie ahead. As Cassandra’s strengths were unfolded, the friend began to call Cassandra a ‘gypsy’, referencing Cassandra’s ability to get all things done, no matter what the challenge. Cassandra started to tell everyone about this great author and began to use the term ‘bullhorn’ to describe what she was doing. Cassandra brings you Bullhorn Gypsy – licensed and registered in the State of New Jersey – working toward a 3rd successful year of getting the word out about positive projects.
