What an amazing weekend of Dance Intensive with guest artist, Alan Medina. Alan is a professional dancer, choreographer, and creative director known for his long-standing work with Cirque du Soleil’s “Michael Jackson ONE.” His creative projects and choreography have been featured on networks like ABC, NBC, FOX, and MTV. The combined Dance and Theatre Conservatories began with a Hip-Hop Master Class on Friday, followed by an extended session with our dancers to build one of their competition pieces. That continued all day Saturday, and ended with a one-on-one with one of our dancers building her solo competition piece. A lot of very exhausted students, but do grateful to have an artist of this caliber in the house to work with our students. Can’t wait to see the final projects come together!

An amazing day in Tallahassee celebrating UNCSA senior Alec Lipscomb (TC ‘23) and the launch of his film company DROP IN and their first Film Festival coinciding with the release of their film premiere, “Twig.” A huge MVA presence in this film, including Alec, Aidan Fracker (TC ‘21), Logan Lopez (TC ‘21), Sebastian Salas (TC ‘26), and Theatre Conservatory sophomore Trey Foster. Bravo to all! It was great to have so much fam’ly in the house showing love to Alec and this project!! The first of many to come!
