Today, I had the honor of tattooing some beautiful stingrays, but the story behind them is what truly made this piece so special. 🖤

My client shared with me the incredible connection she had with her grandpa and how their chosen relationship helped shape her into the beautiful, strong woman she is today.

Family isn’t always defined by blood. Sometimes, the people who choose us — who show up, love us, guide us, protect us, and believe in us — become some of the most important pieces of our story. ❤️

Chosen family is a reminder that some of the deepest bonds in our lives are built through love, loyalty, memories, and the decision to keep choosing one another.

These stingrays are so much more than a tattoo. They carry a story, a connection, and a piece of someone incredibly special that she can now carry with her forever.

This weekend Russ came to town and my girl got the ultimate signature… so naturally we made it permanent. 🖤✨

Some moments are too meaningful to leave on paper. Tattoos tell stories, hold memories, and freeze moments in time forever.

Some souls leave footprints on this earth so deep that even time cannot wash them away.

Annika Mae was taken from this beautiful world far too soon… but today is not about how she left. Today is about who she was. A beautiful soul. A light. A love so pure that it continues to live on through every person blessed enough to know her name.

This March marked four years since her family last saw her face, held her close, heard her laugh, or felt the warmth of her soul here on earth. Four years of heartbreak. Four years of unanswered prayers, tears, memories, and trying to learn how to live around a pain that never truly leaves.

As October approaches, the family continues to pray for healing. They pray justice will finally be served. They pray for peace. And most of all, they pray that Annika Mae can finally rest peacefully.

Pink and yellow have become more than colors — they are reminders of Annika Mae’s spirit. Pink for the love she left behind. Yellow for the light she still shines on those who miss her every single day. And the feather… a symbol of healing, hope, and the gentle reminders that even when we cannot see her, her soul is still near.

Until then, her name will continue to be spoken. Her story will continue to matter. And her light will continue to shine through the people who love her endlessly.

The lotus flower has always carried such a beautiful meaning… 🌸

It grows through muddy waters, pushing through darkness and struggle, yet still blooms into something soft, strong, and beautiful. The lotus reminds us that even after pain, heartbreak, loss, or life’s hardest moments — we can still rise.

This piece was inspired by my good friend Trisha. 💕
A reminder of resilience, healing, growth, and finding beauty even in the hardest seasons of life.

Today was more than a tattoo… it was a reminder of strength, faith, and becoming. 🖤🦋

I had the honor of tattooing a true soul sister today. A woman who has walked through fire… and still stands.

On her hand, she carried the words
“I Am”
and
Resilience

A daily reminder that no matter what life has thrown her way…
she is still here. She is still standing. She is still becoming.

She shared something that hit deep…
that “I Am” is her connection to God.
A whisper that says:
“I am with you, my child… I am you… I am air… I am life… I am love…”

And those two butterflies… 🦋
They tell her story.
One for who she was…
and one for who she has become through faith, healing, and strength.

This is why I do what I do.
These aren’t just tattoos… they are testimonies.

Tonight was one of those moments that reminds me why I do this.

Two sweet souls… who met back in high school…
and somehow, life brought them right back to each other ❤️

Because if you believe anything…
true love always finds its way back.

What started as young love turned into a full-circle story—
and I had the absolute honor of turning that story into something permanent 🖤

Simple. Small. Meaningful.
