What an incredible community effort! Thank you for helping pass 1A for a community recreation center in Grand Junction!

Together we accomplished a goal for our community over 40 years in the making. Each supporter, donor, volunteer, and voter should feel good about being a part of a movement in our community to build something that's bigger than ourselves, and WE DID IT!

"Friends of the MCRC" was the community team that worked to pass Measure B to bring a Rec Center to Montrose. We occasionally share posts here. For up to date information about the Montrose Recreation District please like and follow the Montrose Recreation District, the Montrose Community Recreation Center and the MRD Field House pages. Those are the official MRD pages. Also the Montrose Recreation Foundation is the organization that supports scholarships through fundraising. Follow them too!

The MRD Board of Directors has a vacancy. The MRD Board will be appointing a new member of the Board in January. Interested individuals, please submit your Letter of Interest describing your interest and your Resume. This can be emailed to Ken Sherbenou ([email protected]) or dropped off at the CRC to Ken's attention. The deadline is application is January 12. A special board meeting will be held on Thursday January 18 at 11:30am to interview interested candidates.
